When I bolt my new reproduction lighthousings in the correct place, there is not room for the new grille between them.
Wonder If anybody else have experienced this problem.

Are the all the through holes through the core support lining up with the head light buckets and the grill? Id suggest loosing everything and fit it up lose then adjust and tighten.

The buckets are as far apart as I can get them.

22 5/8" between the upper side mounts and 19 3/4" between the lower connection points

I've heard the repro 68 headlight buckets take some massaging to fit right. I seem to remember that the studs on the back weren't the correct length too so be careful tightening them down. I think they are slotted already but you may have to slot the holes more in the core support to allow them to sit apart wider.

This is exactly what I missed the first time. The pair of studs closest to the grill are 15 mm to short.
Do not use this holes without some kind of shim between the housing and the core support, you can break the housing if you thighten all the bolts.

And four of the bolts in the bolt-on set they supply are too short.
