Bolt pattern on TH425 flexplate 1970 Toronado

hey guys,

i'm about to order a new torque converter.

there are two from TCI that may fit but i don't know about that "small bolt pattern" regarding torque converters for the TH400/425.

can you tell the difference between those TCI converters?

241101 seems to have anti ballooning plate but "small bolt pattern" and is not listed to fit TH425, and 241200 seems to fit TH425 but has no anti-ballooning plate.

TCI told me that 241101 will fit just fine on TH425, but what about that "small bolt pattern"?

maybe you can help?

Afaik "anti ballooning plate is good for high-torque engines?

Moin!

There are 2 flex plate bolt patterns/bolt circles (Lochkreise):

10.75" (small, 27,305cm)
11.5" (large, 29,21cm)

Some flex plates may have both patterns.

Is your engine/tranny already out of the Toro for measuring?
