Is anybody running air gap intake (part# 7551 Edelbrock).
Is there clearance issues???

What are the build specs? You may not even need an RPM Air-Gap.

Well the plan was to either have you or my machine shop build the short block. Eagle rods, icon 886 pistons. I bought bare procomp heads. They will be ported, ferrea valves, milled to achieve 10.5 compression. lunati springs, roller cam, Harland rockers. since I am doing all this I figured it wouldn't be a bad idea to stick an air gap manifold. 3000 rpm stall with 3.73 gears 200r4 tranny, msd rtr dist.

You may want to check your clearances on the power brake booster to valve covers also. I'm not 100% sure on the manifold, it may work with a drop base air cleaner. What carb are you running?

Gotcha, then yes that would be a viable choice. I do believe it will fit with a drop base air cleaner as mentioned.

Eric, I have 2 carbs that are fairly new that I will try, Street Avenger 870cfm and Quick Fuel 850.

Either one will probably work out fine.

I'd go with that one. It's much more tunable than the Holley.

Im very interested in this combo. What are your goals street strip or cruiser? What trans, converter, gears are you running?
