Correct Secondary Rod Hanger

Hi Guys... What would be the correct secondary rod hanger letter for a 1971 442 Auto Trans? I think the correct carb # is 7041257 and I have all the jet & rod sizes but I can't find what the hanger should be.

i don't know what your hanger size should be but if you find out and you don't have one let me know. i have many of them and if i have a double of the one you need i will send it to you. i have collected these for years and still don't have them all. a have duplicates of several of them.

There is no "correct" hanger. Rochester selected the hanger individually for each carb at the factory to achieve the required flow. The hanger height only effects part throttle fuel flow on the secondaries. In all cases, when the secondary air valves are wide open, the metering rods are on the small diameter no matter which hanger is used.

Dang, photoshitbucket ruined it, I can repost if you can’t read, I got the chart from a carb guy here in the D.
it gives you the part number and the 2 letter code. Cliff or Ames sells them.
