Inner brace after drilled out it’s spot welds. I soaked it overnight in some solution I bought at auto parts. I can’t remember but it removes most of the rust from the pits. What was too far gone, I cut out and welded in a patch.

Reassembled inner door bracing.

Sprayed everything with epoxy primer.

Back side of the door skin sprayed too.

Everything back together. Don’t forget to spot weld all around the skin where you drilled them out earlier.
