68 rallye wheels

I have a 68 Cutlass S Convert. I have the original rims with dog dish hub caps. It has had a set of rallye wheels on it for approx. 15--20 yrs. They are 14 " with the centercap that bolts from the rear. What is the correct set for 68,

thanks Bruce

Can someone post a pic of the different wheels. I think I have 15" rally wheels but not sure. It will also give me a clue to the wheels I want.

I know that the Super Stock I wheels (the chrome rims...for drum brakes only) up to '68 or so didn't have any wheel code stamped into the outer rim such that you could see it with the tire on the car) but late production '68 and '69 SSI wheels (again chrome rims for drum brakes only) had an "LE" stamped into the outer rim on the back side so you can see it with the tire on the wheel. Also, in '69, they also produced an SSI wheel for disc brakes for a short period, and it had an "LY" stamped on the back side rim.

The SSII wheels (painted rims and centers) had an "LS" stamped into the rim on the front side in '69...I don't know if that same code was stamped into the wheel for the '68 model year or not.

Both SSI and SSII wheels of that era were 14X6 and both had center caps that bolt on from the back side of the wheel.

here are pics of SS ones - first pic
second pic SS twos

for years 68/69 they were 14 by 6 from the factory
The SS twos for those years had bolt on center caps
in 70 they went o 14 by 7
In 73 and 74 I believe they offered a 15 by 7 w bolt on centers (not a cheap wheel)
And of course they are re-popping in both styles in various sizes

And the lips on the five holes on the SS II wheels are painted silver for '68 and stainless trim for '69. '68, '69, '70 and '71 wheels are painted argent and maybe '72. So body colour wheels started in '73?
