I gotta a 79 gutless that I'm looking to buy some wheels and tires for. I was wondering what size wheel and tire combo I could get. I was wanting a 15x8 on rear, but can't figure out the back spacing I would need. Any suggestions would be highly thanked.

 

You want near zero offset. Backspacing to get zero offset varies with wheel width, which is why I prefer to specify offset instead of backspacing.

 

I have two different sets of tires for the rear of my car. I was wondering if a 275/60/14 would fit or would I need to do a 245/60/14?

 

Sorry the first size was incorrect it would be a 275/55/14
