They are called Super Sport III wheels or SSIII, and have bolt on centers. Available with the bolt on center from 1970-1974ish, and then the snap on center until 1988. If they are 15's they are worth more than the 14s.

Worth approx $200 for a set of 4 if they are clean and straight with all the trim.

Agree with all the above except if these are the 1 year only 1974 15" version with bolt on center caps then they are worth dobule...$400. The 14" vesrions are easy to find. After 1974 the rims are all snap on cap.

One year only for the 15" bolt on centers? I'll have to look in my parts book, I THOUGHT it was 73/74... same years as the embossed valve covers.

You can look in your parts book all you want....if it says anything but 14" for 1973 it is wrong.

In 1973 the rims are 14"...same wheel as 1970-1972. Check any stock 1973 HO for original tire size if you want verification.

'69 H/O used a 15" version of this wheel. I'm sure it would have been bolt-cap. Hella rare, of course.

I always thought they were called Super Stock wheels....isn't Chebby Super Sport?? Just nomenclature, nothing to get worried about. They look like they're in good shape too.

Bamfer: what size are they? It should say on the tire

No trim ring.....chrome rim outer instead. Yes they are bolt on caps. Yes they are prized.

Consider yourself lucky....the one year only rim is hard to find & if you are buying them for that price buy them all.

I do i have a nice stack of them i have to get around to blasting them and painting them. I go to older junkyards and scoop them up as well it's easy money.

I'll check the size, but I don't think I'm going use them myself so they will be for sell. I have 5 of them.
