1965 15x8 275/60/15 BS?

Going to run 15x8 with 275/60/15's n my new Vista Cruiser. I ran the same set up on a 65 F85 years ago but, cannot remember what BS I had. I think it was anywhere from 4.25 to 4.75. Anyone out there running 275/60/15's on 15x8's on a 65? Searched the forum but, could not find anyone else running the set up that would post the BS.

4.25" would give you about zero offset on an 8" wide wheel. Smaller BS moves the tire closer to the fender lip (negative offset) and larger BS moves the tires inboard (positive BS). On my 67 Delta (which I know is not a Vista) I used American Racing TTOs. Unfortunately the 15x8.5 wheels I wanted for the back are only offered with -24mm offset (about 3.5" BS). They look cool, but the tires are definitely pushed outward. Doesn't appear to be a clearance problem on those larger wheel wells, however.
