wheel sizes for my grand daddies 67' 4 Door
Hey Guys-
So i resurrected grandpa's car- its nothing fancy but cool as hell cause it was his car and only has 57k miles. It has the old poverty hub caps on it- I would love to give it a little flair and fill in the wheel wells a bit with some cool wheels and RWL tires. Any suggestions on sizes and types of wheels- want to go as wide as i can without rubbing- the 4 door seems to have so much room in the well- Don't like huge rim look- prefer old school like Cragar style or American but I'm clueless as to sizes and lug patterns and off sets to get the wheel to sit nice in the well. Any suggestions?

Don't know what kind of budget your on, however I would go over the car in detail and see what it needs in terms of safety, reliability before I drop some $$$$ on wheel accessories. Just my 2 cents. ( probably what you dont want to hear)

And when you get around to the wheels and tires, do a search there are tons of discussions on what everyone uses with pictures. You may want to do some suspension work to get the stance you want also.

I've gone through entire car already- replaced all fuel and brake lines- new booster- brakes- new fuel tank- rebuilt carb- new radiator etc. etc. all the main systems are good to go. So wheels and stance next on the list- Yes- lots of good info and pics on here- I guess i'm wondering specifically about common offsets to fill wells better.. wider wheels- i guess i should go to the local wheel shop and let them take look. Def need to raise the rear up a tad- springs are sagging a bit.

Mine are American Racing Torque Thrust D's, rear 8.5 x 15 with P275-60-15 - front are 6 x 15 with P225-70-15. I raised my car up a few inches, and you will run into rubbing issues at the height your car is currently.
