Wheel size for 1955 Super 88

Hey

Is there anyone ho knows what backspace and offset i need to use if i am going to put 17" or 18" on my 1955 Olds Super 88 2Dr sedan??

No but your suspension, rear end and brakes you use will make a difference on what fits. Just get it all mocked up and measure it.

Kealsen, keep us posted as I am in the beginning stages of building a 55 88 sedan myself and will need to figure this out myself sooner or later.

Did you modify the suspension (lowered?). Disc brakes?

I was thinking about going with a drop-in set up from Strange. Want disc brakes and posi. Seems like the cost would not be out of line vs trying to convert something old.

I want the car to sit low (not slammed), and like the larger wheel and lower profile tire look.
