What's the best word on tires 67-442
I wonder what the opinions are of the readers/posters here about the tires being used. So many restorations and drivers are using Radial t/a, and firestone makes one too. I understand the benefit of a modern tire for a lot of driving at speed, but why have so many of you gone to radial, as opposed to getting the redlined retros, bias ply I think, wide ovals that were originally on the car when bought. I don't think any radial was available on 442s in 67, was there?
Thanks, I am in awe of so many cool cars and great, freindly posters. The Olds owners are like a family, it seems.

The year was 1988.
Off came a set of H78-15 bias ply tires on the 70 Delta I had at the time & on went some 225/70 radials.
The transformation was beyond words.
With the radials it rode as nice as any new at the time full size car.
I wouldn't wish bias ply's on my worse enemy.
