hi, was wondering if any body has any advice on tires fitting a 65 starfire , if the bfg t/a radials would be all right , 225-70-14, if not any other suggestions , thanks alot for any help ,will.

 

Those will work but the ideal tire would be the 225 75 14 which I believe are out of production unless you want to pay megabucks for reproductions. The next choice would be 215 75 14 if they are produced.

 

Any thought to going up to 15's. Got a set of 4 15" for Christmas now looking for just the right rim. Want to stay close to original but not affraid to put a little flare in the old gal. Went with 15's due to high costs and lack of availability of 14

 

well its like thise ,i sand blasted the original 14,s 3 years ago, and took the wire hub caps apart and cleaned them , painted rims ,will likeley have to go to 15,s some time , but would like to use some use out of the ones i cleaned and painted, thanks for the ideas,will.
