Tire and wheel information wanted 67 442

Hi, I've got 14" wheels with redline bias belted tires and they ride like crap. I need to get new tires, but I may want to go with disc brakes sometime in the future. How do I know if my wheels will work with disc brakes and are the options for disc brakes for 14" wheels pretty good?
I've heard people say the availability of disc brakes for 14" wheels isn't good, so if it isn't then maybe I should upgrade my wheels along with new tires. I really don't want to spend the money after spending a bunch for the car. I'm a retired guy and money isn't as easy to come by as it used to be. I was pretty poor when I had my first 67 442 back in 1972 and I guess I'll be the same now with my new 67 442 in 2024.
Attached is a pic of the reproduction wheels I currently have.

Thanks
Dave

Anytime "people" say something, it's usually wrong.

With the exception of the 1969 H/O, EVERY SINGLE 1967-72 A-body that left the Oldsmobile factory with disc brakes rode on 14" wheels. The problem isn't the 14" wheel, it's the fact that there are two different styles of 14" wheels, those that clear discs and those that don't. In this photo, the disc brake wheel is on the left. Note the difference in how the rim is shaped to clear the caliper (yellow vs green arrow).
