Tire Size

I'm looking into buying a set of ss1 wheels 15x8. Is there anyone here running the same size and if so what tire size did you go with? Thanks in advance..

You need to say what car you are mounting these on. Also are you running 15x8" on all 4 corners or just out back?

Post more details FIRST

It’s a cutlass and I’m running 15x8 on all 4 72. Hope this is enough info.

What look are you after? Big in back, little in front or all 4 the same size?

tires

255 60 15s all around is the biggest. Personally I think that 255 60 15s up front is too big on the front.

I prefer 275 60 15s out back on 15 x 8s & 225 70 15s up front on 15 x 7. Have also run 245 60 15s up front on 7s.

Good luck with what you decide.

Running a 15x8 on the front is going to cause rubbing issues unless your tires are REALLY short and I don't recommend that. I'd say a 15x8 on the rear and a 15x7 on the front. You can do a 275/60/15 on the rear a 225/70/15 on the front. Or maybe a 295/50/15 with a 235/60/15.

Unless the SS1 are aftermarket or widened, they'd be 15x7. Double check.

Ive got 255-60-15s on 15x8 at all four corners. I might get minor rub at the extremes but its infrequent and not an issue imo

x2 I have 15x8 all around with 255/60’s with no issues. you can also use the 245/60 in front if you have the slight rub issue.

SS-1 wheels: 15x8 in the back and 15x7 in the front. 275/60 or 255/60 in the back. 235/70 or 225/70 in the front.
