SS I rims

Anybody know anything about the attached rims 14x7 JJ M1/2 878

As I understand it, the "M1" represents a manufacturing plant code and the "2" below indicates it was manufactured in 1972. On the face of the rim, usually near the valve stem hole, the M1 2 stamp will be repeated and there should be a slightly larger numeric month and day time stamp close by. Also, in this same area, look for an "LZ" stamp that indicates it's an Olds SSI wheel.

Thanks for the info! I picked up a fairly decent set of these rims at the Street Rod nationals this morning. When restored they should look really good on my 1970 442. Thanks again 442_1972 fpr the great information!
