Question about SSII spare on 69 442

Was the spare SSII wheel on a 69 442 equipped with the five SS bezels or was it just a painted bare rim with the tire? I know it didn't have a center cap but I'm unsure about the small bezels.

I'd say 99% chance it came with the 5 small bezels. I don't think they came with a trim ring either, but not sure about that.

I didn't think the SS-2 came out untill 1970.
My 69 442 came with chrome SS-1's.

There seems to be uncertainty around this, I have never gotten a straight answer myself. It seems to be a consensus though that the five bezels were on the spares but some folks say no trim ring but a center-cap others say no center-cap and no trim ring and yet others have said trim ring no center-cap. I don't remember that far back.

A 69 SSII spare wheel will have the 5 bezels and the center cap in place, no trim ring.

Thanks for the input so far. But I have to admit I'm now still confused. I'm 99% certain that the trim ring was not included on the spare but the center cap being installed caught me by surprise. Good info on the bezels which means I now have 5 more to polish.

I don't know whether it's original or not, but my SS II spare has a trim ring and center cap and 5 little bezels. Here is a not so great picture of it. And yes that is an ancient double white wall bias ply tire on there.

Just looked at the assembly manual info and it does show the center cap. Looks like it will be the cap and bezels and no trim ring.

Thanks Guys.
