Looking for information for the where-abouts of this tire size. It seems that this size is no longer available in the mainstream tire market.
Does anyone know where we might be able to come up with four whitewalls in this size, or Does anyone else have a 1963 Starfire that is running a different size tire than P225/75R14?

Looking for pics if you do have a different size, to see what it would look like and if the speedo changed much...

You could try Diamondback Classics. They'll take a new tire, scuff the markings off and put any whitewall you want on it. I think some RWL tires still come in 225/70R14, which sending to Diamondback may be your best option short of buying $$$ repro tires.

Some folks say a 215/75R14 is acceptable, but they always look too small on these cars to me.

Rocketraider- That is exactly what I was looking for- It may be too small and especially on a bigger car-It could look terrible I think what I will be doing is possibly 225/70r14-

I have thought about that also, but want to keep to as original as possible...

Maybe at OCA in Reno this July I can see what other 63 Starfires are using.

Looks like I will be going with a Hankook tire. P225/70r14 white wall tire. Has anyone used this before on a big size car?
