No trying to beat a dead horse.

I am working from the ground up. 1970 cutlass s I want to run 17x8 up front and 17 x 10 rims in back. I love the ION 625 rims just not sure how much tire I can fit ? I do not want to go with a super low profile tire and would really like a little input from those who have went a little taller with there rim size.

Depending on the back spacing. If everything is perfect 325 tire will fit. I would go to the tire shop and let them measure everything to make sure you get it right, I would also try to stick a 11" wide rim if I was running 17". I run a 295/50/15 with 5" back spacing on a 10" and there is plenty of room left towards the frame.
