Looking for wider wheels
Looking for wider wheels
Title says it all! I'm looking for wider wheels for the rear of my Vista. I'm ok with the height (currently I'm on a set of super stock III's I think 15x7 rear and 14x7 front.
If anybody is willing to part with a pair of 15x8 SSIII's I'm interested in checking them out. Funds come and go quickly with my restoration of this car and college expenses, so I might not be able to buy them instantly.
This is all I can think to say right now if there's any questions just post them and I'lll answer

How about a comment - you are in college, you already have 15x7 SSIIs on the back - SAVE YOUR MONEY - its a cool car, a little wider wheel isn't going to make it any cooler - to you maybe a bit, but not to anyone else
Its a great car enjoy it
That being said... If you are like I was in college, money burned holes in my pockets. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!
I'm building it for myself.... Not too many other people in the bay area build street/strip wagons, let alone drive pre-'80s wagons period. Wider wheels contribute to MY image for the car. And money does burn a hole in my pocket ;P...
completely understood, but I figured I offer advice from a father's point of view because he nore another kid would listen to their father at their age so I figured I' try.
Wheels make a huge difference on a car I know but an extra inch width on stock rims aren't going to make a big enough difference for the money - in my opinion.
