GM steel rims

Just picked up a set of steel 15x7 s
with the nubbs for the dog dish. These have been
used only in the summers by the previous owner
who sandblasted and painted them black , which is ok
but I'm going to go with body colour on the outside .
But a quick question , did GM paint the whole rim the body
colour or just the outside ?

It may depend upon the year or other factors. I say this because I recently bought two different sets of 15x7 SSIII wheels and one set is body color on the front but the inside (under the tire) and the backside are black, and the other set is all body color (front, back, and inside). I have no idea why they are different.

Rims now painted and didn't turn out too bad !Looks a bit dark as compared to the pic of the car but ill have to wait until the tires go on and I can see it in the
daylight on the car.Either way its turning out just like I wanted .
