67 are those 15 inchers? Where did you source them? What didja pay per wheel? I need to put new sneakers on a customers 68 and he wants 235/14s but I told him they are not common anymore hard to find and expensive...so I figured Id step it up to 15s Fill out the 68 wheel wells a little better too.

I got everything through Summit racing...15"x7 Wheel Vintique 52 series, chrome valve stems & lug nuts. Tires are Cooper Cobra's 235/60/15, mounted balanced, shipped & the total was 1068.00 out the door.... I shopped & they were the best price overall....The guy Vito at Summit knew his sh*t about cars too we had a great conversation...

That looks great!! A better pic would be nice...

I'm looking at a set of 15 x 8 SSIs for my '67. I have them, the caps and the chrome valve stems in my wish bucket on Summit. I am holding out for a discount code.

I was told I should bolt them on and check them to make sure they are true before mounting tires. Did you have any issues with yours?

Zero issues, i had it on the highway 20 minutes after install. Hit about 80 or so for a few miles & then some around town stuff, drove great..

You can click on the image icon (looks like a mountain with sun coming up) and it will let you load a image. The kick is that the image has to be loaded at photobucket or something similar. You cut and paste the URL.

I found your album, those wheels are sweet! Christmas in July!

Yes X2 with Summit and Jegs. Thanks for the info. I think the customer has the money. FYI If it were me Id put a good coat of wax on both sides of those rims. That will seal the pores and prevent oxidation right from the get-go.

Funny u should say that drolds its the first thing I did & let it sit a bit while i was bolting in the center caps. After i got them all done I wiped off the backs then installed them & then buffed out the fornts. I learned that from an old timer many moons ago. Now were the old timers. Thanx for the advice. Great minds think alike...
