Cragar 61C 15x8 - offset for 1970 442?
Trying to figure out which Cragars to buy for my 1970 442 Convertible. Some people have said 15x8 4.5 offset, but these Cragars only come in 4 or 4.25. Will the 4.25's fit?
Also If going with Mickey Thompson tires what will fit front/rear?
Thanks!

I used a Jegs sport Torque Wheel 15" x 8" w/ 4.50 BS and a Micky Thompson P275/60R15 in the back....could of gone with the next size wider tire and would still tuck inside of the wheel well IMO.
Used a 15" x 7" front w/ 3.75 BS w/ a P235/60R15 in the front. Has plenty of room no rubbing issues.

I don't think you would have an issue with those wheels in the rear as the fender wells are so large you can fit 295-50s with ease assuming a 15x10 wheel with 5" BS.
For the front, 245-60-15 is largest I was able to use without rubbing. I once had 255-60-15 and those rubbed on turns, so I brought them back and swapped to 245-60-15. Prolly depends a lot upon the springs and suspension (ride height, compression distance, etc).
So my overall favorite for the past 40 years has been 245-60s all around as they fit in front with no issues and can be rotated.
