Cooper Cobras

When I purchased my Hurst/Olds in January, I knew the tires were old and needed to be replaced. Problem was the DOT code was on the inside of the tire. I was careful and did not drive high speeds. I got the Cooper Cobras replaced yesterday and finally got to see just how old the tires were. The DOT code was 3806. The tires still looked and preformed like a new set of tires. My replacement tires are BF Goodrich T/As being they are built here in my hometown. Their DOT is 4525, so I should be good to go for a while. Way to go Cooper for building a tire that holds up that long.

Nice! I run Coober Cawbrah's on my 73 Chevelle and my 64 Olds. I've got no complaints.

Just bought a set for my '69. $50/ea. cheaper than T/As and the letters won't turn brown.

Not surprised, great tires. Have them on my 69.
