Coker has 16" & 17" ss1 style wheels that are discontinued. I want to move up from my 14s and I'm wondering if anyone has seen these wheels or has a picture?
That's part of my concern. The 17 & 18s I've seen just look not quite right but I thought the 16s might look good.
My brother and I have been debating wheels for a couple of months now. He thinks I should keep the factory look while I've debated going with something different
They are steel. The pricing isn't great but I haven't seen these in a 16" and they are chrome rather than machined like Year One and American Racing's versions.
245 50R 17" SS1 at the Olds show last year. Dave might know more.

Thanks for posting the picture. I'm really not feeling that wheel as much as I thought I would. Looks like I'll stick with a 15" wheel of chose something different all together
Edit: I figured out that it's the finish and the wheel lip that I don't like about the Year One cast wheels.
But I think the billet versions look better

I like your wheels. Makes me think maybe I should consider a larger wheel
Thanks - in my opinion it's all about your budget and future plans. If you have a big budget and want the best performance go with big wheels, big tires, big brakes, new suspension etc - but you will be in for around $5k+ before it's done. if you're not upgrading to bigger rotor's you really don't need bigger wheels and the stock rotors look tiny behind big wheels.
If small budget - just go with 15x7 15x8s SSIs, 245/60/15 f 275/60/15 rear - stock suspension, stock brakes, and your in for about $1,500 huge difference.
I did the cheaper option on my 70 Cutlass for my son and the car still looks and drives great - no expense spared on my 71 442 but I"m going for the best performance possible.
