67 Vista Cruiser - new wheels

I've had the Vista for sale for quite some time but no takers. I managed to sell a motor that was sitting in the garage so I had some cash waiting for an opportunity.
My son, Nic, called me up last week about a great deal on a set of 17" x 8" American Racing Torque Thrust wheels. I had no idea what this combination would look like on the Vista but I spent the money.
I took it out to a little show last night and received very many compliments.
I think I may have a set of SSI with 215/75 - 14" BF Goodrich for sale.
BTW, Nic also bought a set

I think it looks pretty sharp!
That is the largest size that would look right IMO...

Looks great. I am a little bias of course, the ones on the blue car are AR Torq Thrust M, also 17x8. Maybe same wheels with different finish.

Verrrrry nice looking! If the Silver Bullet wasn't a wanna'be H/O, I would love to have a set of Torque-Thrust wheels on her. I love 'em. I'm surprised at how good the 17 inchers look. Awesome.
