61 88 needs new wheels after disc conversion

Hi folks I recently upgraded to discs up front using the scarebird kit with wilwood d52 calipers. I will also convert the rear to discs using a fabcraft kit so my original steelies don't fit. I know some of you have done this upgrade and I'd like to know what wheels you used. I bought some 16 inch wheel vintique smoothies but they don't clear my calipers. Any info pointing me in the right direction will be appreciated.

Not sure what look you are going for, but these fit great on my 63 and should clear disc brakes. They are from 94-96 Chevy Impala SS and are 17 by 9 inch. Only problem may be the length of the stock wheel studs, I had to change mine out for safety.

On my '63 Dynamic 88 I'm useing 15" wheels from a 73 thru 86 Chevy or GMC 1/2 ton pickup .
I'm also using the same Scarebird disc setup . The wheels clear just fine .
As a bonus , the 10 inch "dog dish" '63 hubcaps fit just fine .

I also used 94 to 96 Chevy Caprice HD police spec wheels 15" by 7" with Buick wheel covers but they will not take the small hubcaps.

The 77-90 B-body wagons all came with 15x7 steelies with the 5 x 5" bolt patter. These are very common, and I think they do accept dog dish caps.
