Been looking for new or good used tires for my 70 Vista beater. I have 15x7 SSIII's on it now. I am looking for cheap, but safe. On their Black Friday sale wally world has some Goodyear 215/70/15s on sale for $59.00 ea. I looked them up and they are actually a little taller than the original g78x14's. What do you guys think??

Sounds like you're in the right place / right time, not many things better than driving on new tires. - Steven

Well I went to the big W to check them out. They don't have any and didn't get any in for the sale. There isn't any of that type tire to even look at. I wanted to look at tread design, etc. No can do. Here's how it's supposed to work. On these special "Black Friday" items,( TV sets, etc, etc, even tires) you go in to purchase the item and if they have it-you get it. If it isn't in stock you pay for it and they give you a certificate for it. It should be in stock within a certain amount of time, (didn't catch what amount of time) if not available within that time then the certificate becomes a wally gift card. No refund- No you get a wally card. So you need to spend you $'s at W. What ever happened to rain checks.. But really what a great marketing ploy. You pay for it without getting it and if you don't get it they won't give your money back-you must spend it at their store....ingenious-for the store.
