Anyone try to put a 15 x 10 SS1 on rear with 6 inch back spacing with a street drag radial ?

Too much backspacing to center the tire. 4.75" to 5.25" would be good, depending on whether the narower Chevelle type or wider Olds type differential.

Thank-you,
Brought home a universal 15 x 10 rim with 4 1/2 backspacing to test.
10 inches will not fit, unless i mini tub. not wanting to go that route.
so , the disc brake set up for the rear will allow a 15 x 8 with 5" backspacing on a SS1
and use a 285 65 15 street drag radial. should look and handle nice.
Thank you for the response.
