How come we never see the 65 442 chrome wheels anymore?

Hi,
These were the factory rimes that came with my 65 442 that I currently have. They are still on the car just started the restoration process but will need to be re-chromed.

All of them will need re-chroming, just a little rust is starting to makes its appearance. Not sure if I will keep the wheels on the car, I might just put them in storage for future use.
