Question 15x10's on the back of a 1969 Cutlass S

I am planning on putting Cragar SS 15x7 235/60/r15 on the front, I know this should be fine.

However I am thinking 15x10 275/60/15 (28" total) OR 15x10 295/50/15 (26" total) on the back.

Should I be concerned about the back not fitting, have you seen these sizes on a 1969 Cutlass S causing any issues?

I like the idea of the 15x10 275/60/15 (28" total) raising the ***-end up a bit.

TIA
Gary

Well my brother used to run those on his 69 Lemans. The fenders rubbed the outside of the tire. About an inch too wide. His back end was raised a bit. 275/60/15 fit nicely on a 7 inch wide rim on my 72 Cutlass. I'm thinking my brother switched to the 275's on a 10 inch rim and they fit under the wheel well.

The wheel size is no problem but the backspace is. You need a wheel with around 5-5.5" backspace. It might work with the short tire but you still need to watch for rubbing on the 1/4 panel.

Well after much debate, I changed my mind....again.

I went with American Racing VN605 15x8's with 245/60R15 BFG Radial T/A's.

All the way around.
