These wheels have been SOLD. Is there much interest in these? I believe they are from Specialty Wheel which stopped making them around 2012 or so. They're 15"x 8" with 4.5" Backspace. These are dated 2003 and they're not in bad shape. They have some minor pitting, not 100% for show vehicles, but I'd certainly put them on a nice driver. I put a little chrome polish on one of them and they do clean up pretty nice. Can someone let me know what they go for or what would be a fair price to ask for them?

Reason: Update
They would be sweet to mount a set of drag radials to and paint to match your factory front SS's. I would say 300 a piece would not be out of line. Who else sells them??

That's more what I was thinking about these. Everybody seems to want them but can't find them anywhere. The demand is extremely high for a wheel of this type in this size and apparently, nobody can even find one that is listed for sale anywhere to use as a comparison for price. I must say I am somewhat appalled at the amount of people who are offering me $50 to take them off my hands.
The Jegs wheel you mention at $259 each is not even comparable to these wheels. Its a common 7" width that can be found anywhere, including at Jegs. It's also a snap on center cap that can be found anywhere. The rims I am showing are in a whole different category.
UPDATE: It has been determined through members of the OCA Facebook page, that these wheels are still available to purchase new. Apparently after Specialty Wheel moved from Portland down into California, they didn't stay in business to long and sold out to Stockton Wheel in California. A call to Stockton Wheel confirmed that they still have the provisions to make these wheels, and will do so for any individuals who wish to buy them. Pricing is approximately $400 per wheel. So if anyone wants them, that's how to get them.
If you have an 80 Cutlass, these are not the correct type wheel for your car. These are the pre 74 style. Your car would take the more common snap on center cap an they are much easier to find. There's a pair of 15x8 on e-bay right now for $590. Original chrome 15x7's in very good condition can be had for about $300 for a set of 4.
I know they’re not correct for my car , but I’m not concerned with correct for this car .was curious of the asking price .ive seen the ones on eBay as well but , as you say shipping gets expensive .
I want to put these on a 1970 cutlass convertible. do you have all of the beauty rings and caps?
I am confused at to which wheels you are looking for. The ones I have pictured above with the caps on them do not use beauty rings. If you are looking for a set of 15X7 Original Oldsmobile wheels with the bolt on caps, I may have a set of 4 in about two weeks.
* Be very careful in purchasing 'used' wheels. They may not be true as bumps in the road and scrapes could very well affect the wheel turnout. I have the SSlll which have the center snap in caps. Purchase new and don't waste your time with used, just not worth the aggravation.
I am open to either set. Please let me know how much either set will cost me.
thank you
To be completely honest with you, I don't think it's worth trying to buy wheels from me because you live clear across the country from me. I am in Rhode Island, you are about as far away as it gets from me. Shipping would easily cost $50 per wheel and most likely more. Not only that, being in California I would think there would be much more of an abundance of these wheels in your local area. I know one set of 4 15x7 bare wheels just recently sold for $1,000 which to me is absurd, but that's what they sold for. I know its crazy but when I have my set complete, I would think somewhere in the $700 range would be fair. Again, shipping costs would make that number grow to where it's not worth it for you.

Although that is true, the damage of which you speak is easily detected if you know what to look for when inspecting wheels. I myself have been buying used wheels for 45 years and I have never bought a bad one yet. I won't purchase damaged wheels of any sort, and I certainly wouldn't think of selling them either.

Could put bare rims on a tire machine and take video of each wheel to show there true. Purchased a set of honeycomb rims this way. GLWS
* The wheels listed by the op-ed do not have the original center caps which are clearly obvious. The center decal is not the O.E.M. plastic, rather the cheap embossed decal in which the color fades out. If any look, they can see that the farthest wheel cap to the right ( Top two pics) is 'faded' to silver. This demonstrates that the wheels were tampered with and are "not" O.E.M. wheels http://www.oldsmobility.com/old/superstock.htm

890 15 x 7 SSII wheel - chrome, no trim ring - also stamped '15 x 7 JJ' inside rim
- '69 Hurst/Olds
Where did anybody in this entire thread make any reference that the wheels I listed in the original post were OEM? My original post clearly states that the wheels pictured are aftermarket custom wheels made by Specialty Wheel in 2003. The pictures even show the stamping that states they are custom wheels. I don't understand exactly how they could have been tampered with, if this the way they were originally produced by the aftermarket wheel manufacturer.
Yes I'm in Calif. and we have Stockton Wheel 10 miles from me. There is a shop in So Cal that takes the centers out of a SS11 rim and welds it into a 15" and they do SS 1 also but not so good. We had 8 rims done to 15" and 5 made it OK 3 were not strait on machine.

UPDATE: The Wheels from the original post have been sold. A local person offered to buy my wheels so I sold them to him today. Thanks for all the input.
