15" Rally Wheels For 69 Vista

Hey everyone, I am about to buy new tires for my 69 vista cruiser, it has a set of 15 inch SSII rally wheels, and I want to put a wider set of tires with white letters that gives it a clean look but really don't know what size I should go with. What do you guys think?

BF Goodrich TAs 255/60/15s - I just recently read even 265/60s will work - try doing a search you'll get some images to look at and plenty of opinions

I'm running 255-60-15 Goodyears on 15X7 SSIs. on the front they rub slightly on the inside at full lock.

Same here. I have the same tires on the stock 15x7 SSII wheels on my 69 H/O. Mine also rub slightly if I hit a bump at full lock, like hitting the dip at the edge of the driveway. I learned to just slow down at those points. I doubt 265s will fit on the front.

Thanks guys thats what I will look into getting, currently my wagon is getting the engine pulled, and all new gaskets installed, flowtech headers and flowmaster super 44 mufflers. We are painting the engine back gold and painting under the hood, installing new points and rebuilding the carb. Also new polyurethane bushings and a rear sway bar. Its taking me a while but my vista cruiser is coming along.
