the intent here was to fabricate a hood scoop that would resemble, but not be identical to the 72 W30 hood scoop. This is the execution of that idea, all metal, no fiberglass, no bondo, and functional which as I progress with this project, will be made clear.

Good to hear from you| I hope all is well. This project has taken a lot longer than I originally anticipated, I guess most projects of this magnitude usually do. Starting on the interior prep, door solenoids, bear claw latches, wiring harness, sound insulation, console fabrication, some metal fabrication for behind the second seats. glass installation, acquiring necessary weatherstripping, etc. You get the picture. Would love to have it ready for the Olds picnic, but realistically probably another eighteen to twenty four months. And that's if all goes well!

Yes it takes time. Seems like the list gets longer as you get closer to the finish for some reason. I am painting my frame for my 48 Olds this weekend if the humidity isn't to high. I am months behind your progress
