Question '72 Hurst Indy Pace Wagon?

The car looks nothing like a '72 Hurst/Olds Indy 500 pace wagon?
If this is your car please explain...

Should be white and gold with a white interior like a '72 Pace Car?

Green with a gold stripe with blacked out stainless and roof rack, painted chrome mirrors and gold painted grill trim?
Should have a 455, they came from the factory with 350's and Hurst installed the 455's.

Leather interior?...must have been vinyl cows.
Industrial strength springs??
If that car sells for 12K I'll eat my hat, then put mine on evilbay.

While there's no question that this seller is an idiot (and no photos???), in reality Olds installed the 455s, not Hurst. More to the point, I don't think the medical and press wagons used at the 72 race even got the 455s. I suspect they were all 350 cars.

The pics are below the listing in a slideshow type deal.

Todd Harroun, the owner of the medical director car, says his was ordered by Hurst with the 350 then Hurst put in the 455.

I guess it is possible the other wagons didn't get the 455.

Other than the fact that the interiors were black (and ACTUAL leather), you're right in regards to how un-Pace Car-like that one is vs. the real thing...

[Wanted to get the "Press" car in as well for obvious reasons...]

"Similar" gold rockers do not a Pace Car make...
