VC Exhaust Hangers

Made my own Hangers for the new exhaust system. The A Body Hangers are different than the VC. I wanted to use the original mounting holes / location. It's pretty straight forward, the pictures explain it. The Black ' L' brackets I purchased at a local hardware store. There is about 1.25" clearance between the muffler and floor.

I used the rubber isolators from a H.D. universal hanger.

I have a good balance with the underbody clearance and not hanging too low

Great job! Where did you get your exhaust system?

Thanks, it's a Gardner system.
While the Headpipes and mufflers fitted /aligned very well, I'm a little disappointed with the tailpipes. The bends just aren't correct. And some of that could be my fault.
They had nothing (no pattern) to go by and I said the El camino tailpipes of the same year would work.Well they don't, so either I was wrong or they were bent wrong. More than likely it's my fault. I think I can salvage them with some cutting and re- positioning.
