Which rear bumper will fit a 1964 Vista?

Will a 1965 1966 or 1967 Vista Cruiser Rear bumper fit a 1964 model? Are they the same? Thanks in advance for advice!

Which rear bumper will fit a 1964 Vista?

According to the Oldsmobile parts book the rear bumpers for 1964 and 1965 Vistas will be the same part. Part Number 380835 Group 7.831

The 1966 and 1967 bumper is a different part number. It would be interesting if somebody could explain the differences between the 64-65 and 66-67 bumpers.

If the vista is anything like the cutlass. A 64 bumper wil fit a 65 however the back up lights are completely different. 64 are rectangle and 65 are round.

Actually, not. The 1964 wagons and 1964 coupes/sedans use the same bumper. The 1965 wagons use the same bumper as the 1964 cars, but the 1965 coupes/sedans use a unique bumper.

The difference is in the width at the tips of the bumper due to the different shape of the taillights and the surrounding body structure.

That is not correct. The Vista/Wagon bumper does not have the cut out behind the license plate to put fuel in the tank on Coupe and Sedans. Vista/Wagon have the fuel door on the driver side quarter panel.
