Hi everyone. Currently restoring my 69 vista cruiser. Car is back from body and paint and reassembling everything. My goodness what a pile of trim to put back on! Looking for a couple pieces to finish the car off. Needing inside the tailgate opening on the body of the car the 2 plastic trim pieces that are sort of “s” shaped and screw to the body and also needing the vertical glass channels or tracks for the tailgate glass. Looking for ones with good fuzzies in the track and good rubber on the top. Please let me know if you can help me out

I bought a lot of wagon specific parts from him for my 72 vista. He sells restored glass channels for $290.00 with new felt and molded rubber tops. I don't know where you might find the tailgate plastic parts I assume you are talking about the pieces that cover the spot welded seam just inside the tailgate? If so, I believe these are the same across all 68-72 A-body wagons with a dual gate.
Yes I have been in contact with Pete from einstyn.com. Thought I’d try to see if someone has good used first. And yes those pieces are the ones you mention that cover the seam or welds
I looked for those S-shaped pieces for only a short while but didn't find any with fewer cracks than mine. I had the body shop fully-weld and fill those two seams so I didn't need the plastic pieces.
If I had had more patience, I probably would have found them eventually. Good luck with finding these and we are all looking forward to pictures.
Thank you for the compliment. I’m very happy with how it is turning out. I’ve had some other comment about the lack of wood grain but it’s my vision and it’s looking exactly how I pictured it!

Well, you can look at my picture album and tell what I think about wood grain...
The drawback is that, without the wood grain, the sides and tailgate can look too plain. Some have put the stainless trim back on, minus the wood grain. That gives enough variety to eliminate the "too-plain" factor. AndI think it looks very nice.
However, I opted for stripes to break the slab look. I eliminated the trim and most of the emblems. That was my vision and it turned out nicely.
There will be a story about my Vista in the March Journey With Olds magazine.
