We know that we have low level lighting on our wagons, so low that I've noticed a lot of jackasses on the roads drive pick ups and SUVs with large frontal blind spots don't really change the distance they keep from my back bumper, just because they can't see the taillights.
So I'm going to install a high mount third brake light in the tailgate of my wagon... Anybody else do this?
Don't worry, no cuting, it's going inside, 3M taped to the inside glass
Unfortunately that doesn't help if the other driver never looks up from his/her phone...
Be aware that due to the turn signal wiring, you can't just splice the third brake light into the current wires. You have to run a new wire from the brake light switch before that wire runs into the turn signal switch.
