I have friends with a '65 Vista Cruiser that's essentially a parts car. Trying to help them ascertain the values for parts specific to that VC. Roof glass is good except for one panel. I've searched the net and only found NOS prices for the glass so far. So, I'll probably need input for someone who's up on swap meet prices. Also, would like clarification in terms of VC only parts. I'm aware of tailgate,rear doors, stainless trim, rear seats. Am I overlooking anything? Any ballpark pricing that can be given for these parts would also be helpful and greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Vista glass is pricy. Figure $200 and up per piece, depending on delams around the edges. I'm interested in some other Vista-unique parts. Have your friend email or call me.

Thanks for the response, Joe and Tom. The car is located western Michigan in the Grand Rapids vicinity. When I see them this coming week, I'll work at getting contact info for you. The vehicle has an interesting history. It was purchased by a group of nuns for use at a local parish school and paid for with Green Stamps that had been collected for that purpose. I guess you could say it was a variation of "show me the green".

There's a 65 Vista on the Longroof Facebook site right now for $1200. He claims it has rust but may have some good parts. I'm not sure where it is though.

The vehicle is located in West Michigan near Grand Rapids. At this point, they're looking for someone who'll come to the location and pull the parts or purchase the complete vehicle. If this is feasible for you, I can pass your contact info along to them.
