Vist Cruiser dome and dash lights.

I noticed something weird on my 70 VC today. If you open either of the rear side doors the dome light only will come on. If you open the passenger front door, only the under dash and map lights come on. If you open the drivers door, the under dash, map and dome lights all come on. I am thinking something is wrong with the passenger front or do you think it was made that way? If Mom only got in or out she wouldn't wake kiddies sleeping in back??

Yeah, probably not. I'll mess with it later. Its the only older GM I've owned with more than 2 doors.

Just a corroded switch on right front door. Both front doors turn on all 3 lights, rear doors turn on only the dome light.

Thanks for letting us know. I was not aware of the differences in the front & rear doors as far as turning certain lights on, makes sense though.
