Ouch,

Sorry for that news.

Thanks... It will work out, maybe even with my current employer there are a few positions that I can and will apply for. It would be nice to stay here with no benefits loss.

Oh and I did not lose my "posisition" due to an inability to type or spell, that's just on here...

Oh, don't worry. I had mine eliminated once, too, but it grew back.

Hey, I recognize those cars and that place! We definitely get more comments on this setup than any of my friends do with their dualies and boxes. But of course the reality is their dualies are far better suited for the task than the Vista Cruiser is. But it does an adequate job for the shorter trips for the weekly bracket racing for example. But since we have so many hills and mountains in this area, for longer hauls a friends F250 is usually used. The hitch on the wagon is a custom made unit, the rear utilizes Air Lift bags (great product), KYB gas-a-just shocks, a 4-4-2 rear sway bar and 11" brakes off of a 1976 (of course the trailer has four wheel brakes). I just added a stock type 69 Force-Air system to the wagon so I guess I need to update that picture on our site.....

Update:

Since my last post stating I would not be buying a camper anytime soon.... Well I was wrong! I bought a 1976 Skamper 18 footer. The title states 2800lbs empty. I also bought a weight distribution hitch with sway control. I am ordering air bags as well. For an experiment I hooked up, without the weight dist. hitch, and towed the camper around the neighborhood looking for the steepest hills with my FWD V6 Caravan and it did much better than I thought it would. I always towed my old pop-up with the van. I only aquired the Vista a few months ago and I have it apart right now doing a few things to it.

The best news is that the reason I can buy anything is that I applied for a new position within Advance, interviewed and got the job - a promotion to boot! I keep my benefits, tenure, vacation time etc. - I am truly blessed and I know it.

Once get the Vista and the camper all together I will get some pics and post.
