My 2 Olds Cruisers. Thought I'd share!

Last time I had them together, the Custom Cruiser was in dire need of paint.

The Vista hangs out in the carport and the Custom is always parked next to the barn. Had to move the Vista out so I could get in the Carport.

I believe I'll be bringing them to the Cruise-ins like this. Its not often you get to see two iconic Oldsmobiles together like that.

Lol... except in my yard!

Nice cars! Is it just the angles or do they appear to be about the same overall length? I know the 72 CC would dwarf the VC.

They are within an inch apart from each other in length!

Custom Cruiser is definitely wider and roomier than the Vista, though. By a LONG shot.

Yeah, you can really see that from the back view and front ends.

BTW, what ship is that on the back of the CC?

When it comes to the decal, it looks like the bow is on the left which would mean 2 forward turrets and 1 aft turret ... so in keeping with the "cruiser" theme it could be any one of a number of cruisers from WWII

Kinda looks similar to a Baltimore class cruiser, so we'll go with that! =}

Nah. Grandpa served on 3 Destroyers in WWII and he was a station wagon man, so I'll stick with DSTROYR. Plus, I've had the plate for as long as the car, so I can't just change it. Lol.

It's a fitting tribute to your Grandfather, so I wouldn't change it either.
