70 Flattop wagon
Brief introduction and then I'll start a thread over at the resto forum.
I just rec'd a '70 flat top wagon. It has 90k miles and besides the drivers seat the int is very nice. All lights work inside and out. It was an original 350 2 brl car but now has a mid '70's qjet on it. Still wears all of it's original Sherwood green paint. From service records it's been driven 30k miles in the past 12 years. No rust except for service rust here and there. The worst part of the body are 3 doors that are dented from accidents. I have doors from a parts car available.
So here are a couple of pics. I'm pretty fired up to have this as a driver while work continues on the '72.

Ah, yes, for some reason I like those Flat Tops, also. Great looking wagon. Thank goodness you don't have a lot of major problems with it. I won't go into that with the Silver Bullet, when purchased!

Great car. I have a front bench seat with no rips but it is blue. I traded it to someone that probably still has it up in New Hampshire. It is out of a 70' flat top. You can spray it with vinyl paint. Let me know if you are interested. I will call the guy or get you his number.
You say you have access to a parts car?
I am looking for the interior panel that covers the gas tank.
Can you help me there?
For your wagon I saved my door moldings if you need one, I have it.
Here's my wagon as of last weekend I put original wheels back on (No more Mag wheels).

rktolds & Homestar nice wagons! Not enough of these cars got saved. I used my 1971 flat top as a daily driver 5-7 years ago. Now it's just waiting for me to have the time to work on it. Homestar, what color is your interior? Mine is Sienna and I've wondered what exterior colors would look good with it, yellow should be one. John

Thanks guys. You don't see many flat tops. I'd be interested in the seat but I bet shipping would be $$$. I was gonna get a new seat cover from SMS fabrics. My zipcode is 73132 if you can get an idea of shipping cost.

Also the parts car is a 72 sedan. I did see a gas tank cover when I was looking for a new gas tank on ebay last night.
