Wanting to rebuild the carburetor on my ‘54 Olds and need to order a rebuild kit.
Does anyone know where to find the carb # on this Rodchester 4 Jet?
I’ve looked it over and can’t seem to locate the part number?

Apparently, this guy (Mike) sells a rebuild kit for your carburetor and evidently knows how to determine the model type you probably have. Since he's in the business of selling kits for your application and he has a series of YouTube videos for rebuilding a '56 4-Jet (4G, 4GC, etc.) carburetor, you might call him I'd bet he's willing to talk if it means selling a rebuild kit.

Your carb number was on a small metal tag affixed to one of the screws on top. The tags get lost over the years. Charlie Jones has a thread on here about rebuilding them. If you need help I am sure Charlie Jones can clear up things. www.mikescarb.com You can email a question. His wife answers the phone and takes orders. She is pretty familiar with the kits and very helpful. I have done business with them and they are straight shooters.

I would use Mikescarbs again, especially for obscure carburetors. You'll be happy with them, give them a call.. Charlie Jones is very meticulous with things he does..
