E bay often has the sun visors, new and used. The new units cost as much as I paid for my 55 compleat back in the day. Brackets do come up from time to time, most know what they are worth and get it.

Do you have the correct bottom pulley? I believe three grove at least is needed or it could be four. Some one will know and chime in. Another henstooth Item to find..... Good luck in your quest .....Tedd

Here is a link to a previous discussion about AC brackets for a 56 with air conditioning (referred to as "CAC" Car Air Conditioning) in the manuals.

As for the sun visors, I bought a pair for my 56 last fall and they were in excellent condition and cost me $65. All I had to do was paint them. Do your homework and check the pictures of the brackets before buying them. They were interchangeable across some GM brands and models during the mid fifties. Mine were from a Chevy and they fit perfectly.
