Radiator swap

Good morning!!!! The Radiator on my 58 Super 88 is in bad shape. Thinking of doing a swap. Has anyone had any experience with one that is a direct fit?

The Olds parts book says that there were 3 possibilities: w/2BC; w/4BC & J2; w/A.C.

If the top and bottom are in good shape I would have it re cored. The cost should be about the same and you are still original if that matters.... Tedd

Have the radiator cleaned, flushed and pressure tested. If its in really bad shape, consider getting it recored. Its not cheap to recore a radiator, but you know it will bolt up, connect to everything properly, and last another 50 years or so.

Your part number would be 3139705, but I have no idea where to get one. I also like originality as much as possible; hence I support the advice you've received above.
