Recommendations for trans shop in NY for Hydramatic?
Hi All
Looking for a trans shop in the NY metro area that has experience working with Hydramatics. My '55 88 needs to be given the once over by someone who knows what they're looking at. Any recommendations would be appreciated.
Thanks
Dan

You might try Steve P. in Mass.
He runs a transmission shop and specializes in re-building early Hydra Matics , Slim Jim's , etc.
Here is a link to his profile on the Pontiac Forum ;

Good to know where he ended up. I know the real estate market squeezed him out of his shop in Dedham/West Roxbury.
Edit: I googled him: It's Peluso Precision Automotive Blackstone Street Mendon MA 508-478-8900
