my 1955 hardtop

Hi All,

New to the site but not so new to Oldsmobile's. I purchased my 88 hardtop as a solid project in 2007 and have slowly rebuilt the car from the ground up, being in Australia it was a nightmare as they are almost impossible to find but hey its worth it for sure.

I am now hopefully about 8 weeks away from finishing it and thought I would post some pics of how it looks today. If anyone has any questions just ask!

I am chasing a few final parts to get it finished, so my list some things and see if I can get any help.

Cheers

Here she is.

Is that Color "Glen Green Metallic" ? Glad to see you so close to finished. Send a list of anything else needed, and we'll be glad to try to help. I sent info for your post concerning the Trunk Latch. If anything else is needed just send a list. Larry

Thanks mate, the colours a Toyota Camry pearl "cosmic green". i will definitely asked more questions on parts, just got my service book and it's extremely helpful.

I reckon that boot lock looks close, there's a few on eBay might just have to try and see?.

I am chasing front windscreen clips? I can't seem to find any clips similar anywhere.

Cheers dan

Hi Dan,

I got my clips for my rear window from Fusick or U.S Parts supply, cannot remember now. I'm sure both had front windscreen clips for your model.

If they do not have exact matching clips for your windscreen, check out other model clips as I found the clips that hold my stainless strips in the top of the guards were not available for my 59/98, I found that the clips from a 1958 model were the same.
