Hi all, my Olds has been giving me trouble with the electricals. Lights flicker, sometimes won’t crank even with a new battery, and fuses look fine. I’ve cleaned grounds and terminals but the issue keeps coming back. Could this be alternator, regulator, or a wiring short? Any tips on tracking it down would be appreciated.

 

Hi everyone, I’m working on a vintage Oldsmobile and running into some electrical trouble. Lights flicker on and off, starting is hit or miss even with a good battery, and fuses look okay.
